Compensation: $45,000–$50,000, based on experience
About Accelerating Circularity
Accelerating Circularity is an action-oriented nonprofit focused on textile-to-textile recycling systems at commercial scale through a collaborative, stakeholder-led approach. Our mission is to build circular systems that turn used textiles into new raw materials. As part of our growing team, you will play a key role in organizing, supporting, and coordinating various activities that drive the success of our circularity initiatives.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Project Assistant to support our team across multiple programs and initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly: coordinating meetings, managing project data, and supporting communication among partners and collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and track action items.
- Project Coordination: Maintain timelines, deliverables, and team communication.
- Data Management: Manage and update project information in Airtable and other tools.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain files in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Web & Tech Support: Help organize feedback and updates for Accelerating Circularity’s web applications and domain management.
- Presentations & Webinars: Assist with slide decks, visuals, and event coordination (art/design skills a plus).
- Travel & Events: Support small-scale travel logistics and occasional event planning.
- Partner Engagement: Communicate with brand and supply chain partners as needed.

- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to balance multiple projects.
- A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset.
- A genuine interest in sustainability, circularity, and systems innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role.
- Background or education in textiles, sustainability, circular economy, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Airtable, and design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe).
- Experience in associate or bachelor degree fashion or sustainability programs (e.g., ASU–FIDM, Colorado State, San Francisco State) is a plus.
