About The Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with a passion for building elegant and functional user experiences to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user-facing features that directly impact our revenue streams and enhance the overall user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and designers to translate product vision into tangible, high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a proactive mindset, and be eager to contribute to Coinbase’s mission of increasing economic freedom through innovative blockchain solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in developing web and/or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and Typescript.
• Experience in developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with product and design lifecycle processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• High-quality, well-tested, and extensible coding skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in frontend architecture.
• Proactive attitude with a growth mindset and team empowerment skills.

Nice to haves include experience in launching new products from inception, working in finance or security sectors, developing React Native mobile apps, or engaging with blockchain and onchain activities such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, and dApps.

Responsibilities

• Build and help design intuitive, elegant, and functional user interfaces for Coinbase products.
• Own and implement product features that directly contribute to revenue growth.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop a clear product roadmap each quarter.
• Participate actively in team meetings, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and blockchain technology.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and team workflows.
