Sr. Product Designer

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Product Designer and help shape strategic design directions. This remote role offers a 6+ month contract focusing on crafting impactful digital solutions. Responsibilities

• Innovate with human-centered design to support decision-making in digital product teams.
• Influence design strategy, aligning with business and technology objectives.
• Collaborate with design leaders and engineering teams to enhance product strategies.
• Conduct design research and create prototypes to guide product decisions.
• Communicate effectively across all levels to foster collaboration and trust.
• Mentor junior team members in best practices and methodologies.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and storytelling to build relationships.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and client commitment.

Skills

• Degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, or Web Development.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience, including significant user experience and product innovation.
• Proven leadership in digital product development projects.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with innovative design approaches.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining design decisions and metrics.
• Self-directed and proactive with a passion for progress.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration focused on business value.
• Knowledge of leveraging and pushing design systems to achieve goals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing for financial advisors in wealth management or investment portfolios.
• Exceptional storytelling and persuasion skills within a design context.
• Strategic design thinking to contribute to organizational design strategy.
• Knowledge and experience in diversified financial services.
• Familiarity with advanced design research methodologies.
