Job Description

Posted on: November 27, 2025

Business Analyst / Product Owner - Integrated SearchLocation: Remote, very occasional travel to London / Leeds

Industry: Tech Consultancy / Healthcare

Day Rate: £450 - £500 (Inside IR35)

Contract length: Running until September 2026

Must have: FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) experience

We are looking for a Service Blueprint Specialist to help shape and evolve a key Integrated Search capability within a healthcare and API-driven environment. This is a role for someone who enjoys connecting the dots across people, processes, data and technology, and who can bring clarity to complexity by building service blueprints that teams genuinely rely on.

This person will work closely with cross-functional rainbow teams, support external API consumer onboarding, and ensure alignment with FHIR and wider interoperability standards. If you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy turning messy reality into something clear, structured and future-ready, this will be a great fit.

The Role:

You will take ownership of the existing service blueprint for our Integrated Search service and evolve it as the product grows. You will map how the service works today, identify gaps and opportunities, and define how it should work in the future.

You will work with Product, Engineering, Clinical and Design teams, helping them understand how their work fits into the wider service. You will also play a key role in supporting external API consumers as they onboard and integrate with our APIs.

This is not a hands-on engineering role, but you will need to be technically comfortable and confident discussing APIs, data flows and system interactions. Healthcare experience and a working awareness of FHIR will be essential.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Developing, refining and maintaining the service blueprint for Integrated Search
  • Analysing prioritised use cases and translating them into clear service flows
  • Mapping user journeys, data flows, system interactions and backstage processes
  • Identifying gaps, risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary rainbow teams across Product, Engineering, Design and Clinical domains
  • Supporting the onboarding journey for external API consumers and helping them understand requirements
  • Ensuring the service aligns with healthcare standards, particularly FHIR
  • Acting as a connector who brings clarity and alignment across teams

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience creating or evolving service blueprints in a complex environment
  • Strong business analysis skills and a natural ability to simplify complexity
  • Experience working with APIs and an understanding of how systems integrate
  • Experience in healthcare, or a similar regulated setting, with a working awareness of FHIR
  • Confidence working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Curiosity, problem-solving skills and the ability to spot what others might miss
  • Comfort working in iterative, cross-functional environments

Nice To Have:

  • A technical background or hands-on technical experience
  • Experience supporting partners or external consumers through onboarding and integration journeys

What Will Make You Thrive In The Role:

If you enjoy order and structure but are equally comfortable working through ambiguity. If you can listen, challenge, simplify and stitch together the bigger picture. If you understand healthcare and interoperability, but are just as happy talking to clinicians as they are to engineers. If you see a service blueprint not as documentation, but as a living, collaborative tool that guides decision-making and delivery. Then this is the right contract role for you.

At Inara Talent, we believe everyone deserves a fair chance to shine. We connect great people from all backgrounds with opportunities where they can thrive, making sure hiring is fair, inclusive, and truly diverse. No matter your race, gender, age, ability, or background—we focus on what really matters: your talent.
