As a Front End Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building high-quality, consumer-facing web applications that delight users and drive measurable impact. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to implement visually engaging and performant user interfaces. Your work will span the full front-end stack, leveraging modern frameworks like React and TypeScript to ensure accessibility, usability, and maintainability. This role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment where technical excellence, attention to detail, and user-centered design guide every decision. You will contribute to reusable internal resources, support CI/CD workflows, and mentor team members while continuously learning and applying best practices in front-end development.
- Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing, intuitive, and accessible interfaces that meet WCAG guidelines.
- Debug, profile, and optimize application performance while maintaining code quality and readability.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability and maintainability.
- Contribute to internal resources, including documentation, reusable components, and libraries.
- Support CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, automated builds, tests, and deployments.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and upholding engineering standards.
- Engage in team events, community activities, and occasional public-facing technical contributions.
- Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience building consumer-facing web applications in a professional environment.
- Fluent in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React.
- Strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on testing and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present and defend technical choices persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and mentor peers.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with additional languages such as C#, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with other frameworks like Angular, Vue, Node.js , or .NET.
- Contributions to public projects, open source, or personal applications.
