- Partner closely with engineering, product and platform teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable products
- Take ownership of optimising the processes for gathering, storing, and analysing high-volume telemetry and network data
- Guide the architectural vision and ongoing development of our observability platform, supporting tech leads in making design decisions while safeguarding resilience, scalability, and data integrity.
✅ What You’ll Bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments
- 10+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of building and scaling distributed systems and ensuring high availability
- Strong background with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code
- History of delivering and finishing projects on-time, with clear examples of high-output execution
- History of managing and growing remote/international teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect technical detail to business value
💡 Bonus if you have:
- Telemetry, Monitoring, Networking, Infrastructure, Alerting, Dashboarding
- Familiarity with AI/ML-driven monitoring or observability tools
- Strong background in Python, Golang, or Java for building internal services
- Skilled in using data platforms for telemetry and analytics, such as Grafana, Postgres, ClickHouse, Kafka, and Elastic
- Deep understanding of distributed computing, systems performance, and reliability engineering
- Knowledgeable about OpenTelemetry and related industry standards.
🙌 What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £125k + equity + bonus
- 100% remote from anywhere in the UK
- Unlimited holiday
- Company-wide events and team socials
- Travel to the US, Europe for team events and tech conferences
