About the Opportunity
At dahling, we're looking to connect with talented freelance Creative Video Editors, Compositors and CG/3D Generalists with AI workflow experience for a number of exciting opportunities across our creative agency, production and post-production clients.
We're particularly interested in artists who have a strong foundation in traditional creative production, alongside hands-on experience integrating generative AI into professional commercial workflows.
Ideally, you'll have a background working within creative agencies, production companies or post-production studios, with experience delivering high-quality commercial campaigns and branded content for leading global brands.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for artists with experience across one or more of the following areas:
- Creative Editing & Motion Design: Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, commercial editing, storytelling and animation.
- Compositing & VFX: Nuke, After Effects, CG integration, tracking, rotoscoping, retouching and finishing.
- CG & 3D: Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, modelling, lighting, texturing and rendering.
- Generative AI: Magnific, Higgsfield, Runway or similar.
- AI Production Workflows: Image and video generation, enhancement, upscaling, character consistency and integration of AI-generated assets into traditional post-production pipelines.
You don't need to be proficient in every software package listed. We're keen to meet specialists across different disciplines who combine strong technical skills with practical AI experience.
Applicants must have examples of professional commercial work incorporating generative AI into the creative or production process.
We're particularly interested in seeing work produced for established brands, agencies or studios, demonstrating how AI has been integrated into traditional editing, compositing, VFX or CG workflows. Portfolios consisting solely of personal AI experiments or speculative projects won't be sufficient.
Bonus points if you can share AI workflow breakdowns, including storyboards, character sheets, style frames, prompt development, visual consistency tests or before-and-after examples demonstrating how you've taken projects from concept through to final delivery.
About You
- Strong professional background in creative advertising, production, post-production or VFX.
- Excellent creative judgement, technical understanding and attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with Creative Directors, Producers and wider studio teams.
- Comfortable working remotely across international projects.
- Genuine interest in emerging AI technologies and developing innovative creative workflows.
