Designer (Contract)Location: Remote (CST/EST hours)

Pay Rate: $35-40/hr.

Overview:

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Designer to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of big-brand digital projects, with a strong focus on email design in Figma. The role is 100% remote and ideal for early-career designers looking to grow their portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on concepting and execution of creative across a wide range of digital and print deliverables: Email campaigns, Social media graphics, Banner ads, Presentations, Landing pages, Environmental design
• Collaborate with internal teams: creative directors, ACDs, designers, animators, project managers, content strategists, account teams, and developers
• Interpret creative briefs and ensure assignments are clearly scoped and estimated
• Understand and align with marketing initiatives, campaign strategies, and brand guidelines
• Participate in and conduct creative reviews
• Present creative work to peers, stakeholders, and leadership
• Maintain project budgets, timelines, and adhere to internal processes
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines
• Ensure all design work is error-free and meets project objectives
• Contribute to creative process improvements and team collaboration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or 8+ years of visual design experience in lieu of a degree
• 1–3 years of professional experience within an advertising agency or in-house creative team

• Familiarity with email design best practices and current digital trends
