Video Production Specialist 360training.com is currently in search of an experienced and exceptional individual to fill the position of video production specialist. As part of their role, The Video Production Specialist is responsible for planning, filming, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with the organization’s brand and communication goals. This role involves collaborating with creative teams, scriptwriters, and subject matter experts to produce engaging videos for marketing, training, product demonstrations, and internal communications. The ideal candidate has expertise in video production workflows, camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and post-production editing using industry-standard tools. ResponsibilitiesPre-Production Planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand video goals and target audience.
- Develop video concepts, scripts, storyboards, and shot lists.
- Scout locations and schedule shoots based on project needs.
Production
- Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording tools.
- Direct on-camera talent and ensure high-quality visual and audio capture.
- Manage shoot logistics, including setup, coordination, and troubleshooting on set.
Post-Production
- Edit raw footage into polished video content using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Add visual effects, graphics, transitions, voiceovers, and background music as needed.
- Ensure brand consistency, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
- Create or review subtitles/SRT files to ensure accessibility and compliance with eLearning standards.
Project Management
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously from concept to delivery.
- Maintain project timelines and communicate progress with team members and stakeholders.
- Organize and archive video assets for future reference and reuse.
- Collaborate effectively using tools like Slack, Asana, or Microsoft Teams to track progress and manage tasks remotely.
Quality Control
- Review and refine final outputs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and engagement.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (web, social media, LMS, internal use).
- Incorporate feedback from reviewers and stakeholders promptly.
Technical Maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot video production equipment.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in video production, editing, and post-production.
- Proven portfolio showcasing diverse video projects (corporate, educational, promotional, etc.).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Strong knowledge of:
- Camera operation (DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras)
- Lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots
- Audio recording equipment and techniques
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression best practices.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and color grading is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent storytelling and visual composition skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Creativity and a passion for visual content creation.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in eLearning, marketing, or corporate environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and video optimization for web and mobile.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design or photography is an advantage.
