User Interface Designer

About the role

This is a hands-on UI / Product Designer role for someone who enjoys turning good ideas into polished, scalable design.

You will work closely with designers, developers, and project teams to create clean digital interfaces and contribute to the ongoing quality of the work delivered by the studio. The role suits someone who is comfortable working within established systems, enjoys bringing structure to complexity, and wants to help shape strong digital products with real-world impact.

What you will be doing

Design and delivery

• Create polished UI and product design work across digital projects
• Work within design systems to produce consistent, scalable outcomes
• Translate ideas, briefs, and direction into clear, production-ready design
• Design responsively, with a strong understanding of how interfaces behave across devices
• Prepare files and assets that are organised, clear, and easy for developers to work from

Collaboration and craft

• Partner closely with developers to ensure design intent is carried through accurately
• Contribute to a team culture that values clarity, accountability, and high standards
• Take and apply feedback well, with a calm and open approach
• Support project teams and clients with thoughtful communication when needed
• Help lift the overall quality of the design output through care, consistency, and attention to detail

What you bring

You are someone who has:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in UI / Product design
• Strong experience working within design systems
• Solid understanding of UX principles, including user flows, hierarchy, and interaction design
• Advanced Figma skills, including Auto Layout, components, variants, and variables
• A structured, detail-focused way of working
• Confidence in collaborating with developers
• A calm and steady approach under pressure
• Openness to feedback and a low-ego mindset
• A genuine interest in growing into more leadership responsibility over time

Nice to have

• Worked in SaaS or tech product teams
• Helped build, maintain, or evolve design systems
• A strong instinct for grids, spacing, and reusable design patterns
