Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Design & Utility Patent Illustrator. Responsibilities include creating detailed patent illustrations for design and utility applications, working in Adobe Illustrator to create vector drawings, and ensuring compliance with patent office standards. The role also involves refining and editing drawings, incorporating customer feedback, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE PATENT DRAWING EXPERIENCE!
• MUST BE BASED IN THE USA
• Strong skills in Digital Illustration and Drawing in Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with Graphics and Graphic Design
• Proficiency in other artistic techniques
• Attention to detail and the ability to create precise and compliant technical drawings
• Familiarity with patent application processes or standards is a plus
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling tools is advantageous
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and healthy lifestyle (we get up early, and go to bed early)
