Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Remote

Remuneration: £42.79 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary (3 months)

Responsibilities:

• Develop an interactive 3D brain visualisation in the browser using WebGL, 3js, or similar technologies. 🧠
• Implement user interface components for users to select from a range of preloaded images, videos, and text.
• Integrate model output data from the research team to enhance the visualisation experience.
• Enable interactive controls for the 3D visualisation, including rotation, zoom, and play/pause functionality.
• Ensure a performant, responsive, and accessible front-end design, leveraging the internal design system with slight modifications.
• Collaborate with design and research teams to iterate on UI/UX based on feedback for optimal user engagement.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in software design and development.
• Experience in Python, backend APIs, and web frameworks.
• Advanced front-end web development skills, including WebGL, React, GraphQL, and Relay.
• Solid experience in back-end development with Python, Hack, PHP, and similar tools.
• Expertise in interactive data visualization and browser performance optimisation.
