iOS Developer (Remote, EU Timezone)

Aether builds a modern revenue engine for the home-services industry (solar, roofing, HVAC, landscaping). We combine instant 3D measurements, CAD-quality designs, automated estimating, and workflow automation into one platform. At the core of our product are our vision-based AI models that generate 3D roof structures, full-house geometry, and accurate takeoffs from imagery and LiDAR.

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to help scale these capabilities on mobile, enabling field teams to work faster, smarter, and with richer on-device experiences.

This is a remote role, and candidates must be located in or able to work within EU timezones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications supporting 3D visualization, measurements, and AI-assisted workflows

• Implement new UI components and optimize existing features for speed and stability

• Integrate with backend APIs and real-time data pipelines

• Work closely with product, design, and AI/vision engineering to shape mobile-first experiences

• Write clean, testable, maintainable Swift code

• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews

• Troubleshoot performance issues, crashes, and device-specific behavior

Requirements

• Strong experience with Swift, UIKit, and/or SwiftUI

• Solid knowledge of iOS app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.)

• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling async/offline flows

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern development practices

• Strong understanding of performance optimization and memory management

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote team

• Able to work reliably within EU timezone hours

Nice to Have

• Experience with geospatial data, 3D rendering, or mobile graphics

• Background in construction-tech, solar-tech, or field-service applications

• Experience with Combine or reactive programming patterns

• Knowledge of offline-first architectures or edge ML models
