UX Research Analyst

Role Description

The UX Research Analyst is responsible for understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through research and analysis to inform the design of digital products. This role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing user data, and providing actionable insights to improve user experience, engagement, and overall product performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, empathetic, and able to translate research findings into strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research using methods such as surveys, interviews, usability testing, and analytics.
• Analyze and interpret user data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to inform design decisions.
• Create research reports, personas, journey maps, and presentations to communicate findings.
• Recommend design improvements based on evidence and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with UX research methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Support product strategy by providing insights into user behavior and preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UX researcher, UX analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Proficiency with research and analytics tools (e.g., UserTesting, Hotjar, Google Analytics, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
• Detail-oriented, empathetic, and user-focused mindset.
