The Role

We are looking for a Senior 2D Graphic & Motion Designer to elevate our motion graphics and interactivity team.

This role focuses on design excellence and execution mastery — you’ll create style frames, storyboards, characters, visual systems, and animations that form the foundation of our motion and interactive projects. Every asset you produce will be flowing with creativity, animation-ready and production-efficient. You’ll also act as a bridge between directors and designers, mentoring juniors, reviewing outputs, and ensuring projects consistently meet both creative and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Transform complex, data-heavy content into engaging, clear, and medically accurate visual narratives
• Deliver exceptional storyboards, style frames, characters, and visual assets that set the creative benchmark
• Review and optimize assets, ensuring quality and motion readiness
• Facilitate clear communication between art directors and the motion design team
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative learning environment
• Navigate company guidelines and playbooks with confidence, solving design challenges efficiently
• Ensure all assets are rigged and production-ready, with strong knowledge of After Effects pipelines
• Own projects from concept to completion, knowing when to involve directors or other departments
• Apply UX principles to support interactive video experiences

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional design experience, including motion graphics & animation pipeline exposure
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma
• Constant push for excellence — never satisfied with “good enough”
• Comfortable mentoring junior designers and supporting their growth
• Proven expertise in character design and rigging (essential for this role)
• Deep understanding of animation principles
• Excellent storytelling skills to simplify and visualize complex scientific content
• Solid grasp of UX principles to support interactive experiences
• Fluent English & excellent communication skills
• Windows-based workflow experience (not Mac)

Nice to Have

• Previous mentoring or team lead experience
• Healthcare or pharma visual communication experience
• Afternoon availability in Europe (12 pm - 8:30 pm CET)
