We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help us grow internationally through translations and guest experiences. You will contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You will be responsible for managing your task list pipeline as well as communicating your progress throughout the task life cycle. You will be aiding the development, maintenance, and support of our platform's frontend features.
- Work with the team to develop, maintain and support all features of the frontend
- Perform code reviews on features developed by your peers
- Collaborate with the team on future features and possible visual designs
- Maintain strong communication on progress as well as on question/concerns you foresee
- Manage designated tasks assigned on Jira
Required Experience
- 5-8 years of software development experience in one or more front end focussed programming languages; Javascript, Typescript, ES6
- Professional experience with Python or Go
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular with experience with CSS.
- Experienced with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
- Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule.
- Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building and best practices
- Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure.
- Excellent communication skills. You partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
This is a 6-month contract with possibility of extension, 40 hours/ week. No C2C Engagements. No visa sponsorship/ visa transfer available.
