Your Impact Zone

• Responsible for writing the web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers.
• Lead integrations of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Manage the hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
• Conduct UI tests and optimize performance and troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.
• Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.

Your Toolkit for the Role

• Minimum of +10 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer (PHP and Laravel programming languages)
• Experience with SQL, MySLQ
• Version control, such as Git, CVS, or SVN
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services
• Ability to project manage.
• Growth mindset that challenges the status quo and focuses on outside-the-box ideas and solutions
