The Role
As New Business Development Director, you will be at the forefront of Conbella’s expansion, driving new client acquisition and revenue growth across multiple sectors.
You will:
- Identify opportunities across SME and corporate brands.
- Generate leads through outbound outreach, inbound follow-ups, and networking.
- Conduct lead discovery calls, deliver tailored proposals, and close deals.
- Work closely with the CEO to ensure smooth client onboarding and long-term success.
- Contribute to sales and marketing strategies, bringing ideas for campaigns, outreach, and market positioning.
- Promote Conbella at every opportunity, strengthening our profile and reputation.

Key Requirements
You should be a confident and motivated Sales / New Business Development Manager or Director, with a CV that demonstrates:
- Proven B2B sales track record, ideally within creative or marketing agencies.
- Experience generating leads through cold outreach, inbound follow-up, and networking.
- Strong understanding of some or all of the following: branding, packaging design, marketing collateral, POS, POP, in-store and store format design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote role.
- Willingness to travel within the UK for occasional client meetings (most meetings are online).

- Commission-only earnings on all client contracts secured (initial stage).
- All client partnerships to be secured on minimum term contracts, ensuring recurring income.
- Equity & dividend incentives (see below).
- Once 1st Year annual targets are achieved, a base salary will be introduced in addition to commission and dividends, along with Board-level involvement.
Equity & Dividend Incentive
- On achieving annual sales targets, the New Business Development Director will receive 1% equity in the business per year, up to a maximum of 5% equity over five years.
- Opportunity to participate in future ownership structures or additional equity purchases as the agency grows.
