Job Description

Posted on: November 29, 2025

Are you passionate about tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) and experienced in marketing? Join our growing team and help us bring our innovative TTRPGs to life for players worldwide!

We’re looking for a self-motivated and creative Marketing Lead to head up our marketing efforts, manage campaigns, collaborate with our in-house content creator/social media manager, and oversee event planning and website updates.

✨ About Crossed Paths

Crossed Paths is a small but ambitious indie TTRPG studio creating visually stunning, narrative-first tabletop experiences. Our games champion creativity, community, and accessible storytelling, and we’re building worlds that players genuinely care about.

We’re now looking for a full-time Marketing Lead to guide our campaigns, shape our brand, and support our growing community as we scale up.

If you’re a strategic thinker who loves the hands-on side of marketing, this is a chance to help define the future of an indie studio.

✨ What You’ll Do

You’ll run the marketing function across the studio, leading campaigns, content, community strategy, and overall brand direction.

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for crowdfunding campaigns across multiple TTRPG titles.
  • Identify audience insights, growth opportunities, and emerging community trends to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to align marketing with studio goals
  • Own the Crossed Paths content strategy and editorial calendar

Creative & Brand

  • Own brand guidelines as the studio grows to maintain a cohesive and recognisable brand presence.
  • Review key communications to ensure they maintain clarity and consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with art, production, and writing teams to align visuals and storytelling across campaign materials and brand moments.

Campaign Execution

  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple titles
  • Manage influencer outreach, briefing, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with agencies and freelancer marketing support - including paid ads, PR, and web design.
  • Manage and collaborate closely with our in-house Social Media Manager to plan and deliver engaging posts and campaigns on social media platforms.
  • Write and create assets for hero marketing content, including updates, blog posts, announcements, and platform-specific content.
  • Support with light-touch community management across socials, BackerKit, and other digital platforms.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, learnings, and actionable insights

✨ What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in marketing, preferably within the games, TTRPG, or adjacent industries
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, social ecosystem, and online communities
  • A balanced skillset covering both strategy and hands-on delivery
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience managing junior team members, agencies, and freelance partners
  • Confident working in a small, fast-paced indie environment
  • Bonus: A genuine love for TTRPGs and narrative-driven storytelling
  • Bonus: familiarity with Backerkit, Kickstarter, or other crowdfunding platforms

✨ What We Offer

  • Full-time remote role (UK Preferred but willing to speak to international candidates)
  • Creative ownership and the opportunity to shape the brand’s future
  • A supportive, collaborative team where your input genuinely impacts the studio
  • Opportunities to work across multiple IPs and genres
  • Flexibility and autonomy in how you manage your workflows
  • £25,000-£30,000 per annum. This is negotiable for the right candidate.

How to Apply

Please send your CV, a cover letter detailing your relevant experience, and any examples of past marketing campaigns or projects to Ash@crossedpaths.co.uk.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our team. If you’re passionate about storytelling and gaming, we’d love to hear from you!
