Position: VFX Artist / Creator

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $45-$70 per hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Project-based (several weeks with possibility of extension)

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week, flexible and asynchronous

Responsibilities: (Training support will be provided)

• Identify the most visually appealing and impactful application of VFX in different contexts.
• Use video editing software (not AI tools) to add VFX to short-form videos.
• Follow specific instructions regarding video content and VFX application.
• Produce high-quality outputs within set time constraints.
• Handle tasks like compositing, object removal, rotoscoping, tracking, and digital cleanups.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in VFX.
• Degree in Visual Effects, Animation, Film/Media Production, or similar preferred.
• Strong aesthetic judgment for applying VFX effectively.
• Experience creating VFX for short-form videos on social platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
