Digital Marketing Manager – SMS & Email MarketingLocation: Remote (UK-based)

My client is one of the UK’s leading online prize competition platforms, offering luxury prizes through skill-based draws. With a fast-growing customer base and an engaged community, they are on a mission to redefine online competitions by combining trust, excitement, and premium rewards.

Role Overview

They are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager with a strong focus on SMS and Email Marketing to lead their direct communication strategy. You will own and execute campaigns that increase customer retention, drive engagement, and boost revenue through their core channels: email and SMS. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall SMS and email marketing strategy, including planning, segmentation, A/B testing, and automation.
  • Write compelling, brand-aligned copy for emails and SMS campaigns tailored to our audience.
  • Create customer journeys and triggered flows to improve user engagement, reduce churn, and increase conversion rates.
  • Manage the full campaign lifecycle from concept to analysis, using platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and visuals.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, revenue attribution), and make data-driven improvements.
  • Ensure full compliance with GDPR, PECR, and other applicable regulations for marketing communications.
  • Continuously test and optimize messaging, sending times, personalization strategies, and audience segments.
  • Coordinate promotions and limited-time offers with wider marketing and operations teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably in e-commerce, iGaming, or digital product environments.
  • Proven success using email/SMS platforms like Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, or similar.
  • Strong copywriting and campaign planning skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or reporting within email platforms.
  • Deep understanding of email deliverability, compliance, and segmentation best practices.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and collaborating with remote teams.
  • Passion for innovation, performance marketing, and growth experimentation.
