UI/UX Designer for AI Travel Product

About the Role

We’re seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to help shape intuitive, beautiful, and seamless experiences across our platform.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketers to design user journeys and interfaces that make trip planning not only easy, but delightful. From brainstorming and wireframes to polished high-fidelity designs, you’ll lead the full design process—ensuring our product feels as inspiring as the adventures it helps people create.

This is a hands-on opportunity to bring your creativity, problem-solving skills, and design craft to a product used by travelers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that translate requirements into clear, intuitive experiences
• Create polished, production-ready UI designs in Figma (or similar tools)
• Build and evolve our design system for consistency across web and mobile
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship features that balance usability, aesthetics, and technical feasibility
• Contribute to brand touch points with simple, on-brand visuals and content layouts
• Stay current with design trends and bring fresh ideas to elevate our product and brand

Who You Are

• 6+ years of UI/UX design experience with consumer-facing products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user flows, design systems, and shipped products
• Expert in Figma, prototyping tools, MCP and design handoff best practices
• Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
• Strong visual design sense and attention to detail
• Able to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design decisions
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
• Self-driven, creative, and able to move fast in a startup environment

Bonus Points

• Experience in travel, hospitality, or marketplaces
• Motion design or micro-interaction skills (Lottie, After Effects)
• Familiarity with AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT-assisted workflows)
• Background in accessibility and inclusive design
