The Role

We're seeking a talented Experience Designer to work with our creative team on a freelance basis. In this role, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing narrative-driven beauty experiences, story-rich fashion presentations, exclusive brand moments, dining club events, and thoughtfully designed lifestyle brand encounters for both our internal projects and client work. You'll collaborate with our strategy, creative, and production teams to create bespoke experiences that tell compelling brand stories and showcase beauty products, fashion collections, and lifestyle brands through immersive narrative experiences in thoughtfully designed, intimate settings. You'll play a key role in our luxury & community-driven experiences that bring people together around exceptional brands, while also developing our own proprietary dining club and internal brand experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Conceptualization

• Develop innovative spatial design concepts that tell compelling brand stories through intimate beauty experiences, curated fashion presentations, exclusive dining club events, and luxury lifestyle brand moments for both client projects and internal proprietary experiences
• Create narrative-rich experiential environments for private launches, intimate previews, VIP experiences, dining club gatherings, and bespoke brand encounters
• Design thoughtful customer journeys that unfold brand narratives and enhance personal discovery through meaningful storytelling for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands
• Translate brand stories, heritage, and values into tangible, three-dimensional narrative experiences that resonate emotionally with audiences and foster community connections

Technical Execution

• Produce detailed technical drawings, 3D renderings, and presentation materials for intimate installations and curated brand experiences
• Collaborate with specialized artisans, boutique fabricators, and luxury craftspeople
• Specify premium materials, finishes, sophisticated lighting systems, and bespoke beauty/fashion displays
• Design intimate product presentation areas, exclusive experience zones, beauty discovery spaces, and curated lifestyle vignettes
• Oversee installation processes for private launches, intimate gatherings, and exclusive brand experiences

Project Management

• Manage project timelines and deliverables for both internal and client work while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Work within project budgets while maximizing creative impact for both proprietary experiences and client projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, strategy, and production
• Present design concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external clients
• Maintain clear communication and project updates throughout the design and execution phases

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, or related field
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in spatial design, experience design, narrative-driven environments, or related discipline
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar)
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience with technical drawing and CAD software
• Knowledge of rendering software (V-Ray, KeyShot, or similar)
• **Design Expertise:**Strong understanding of narrative-driven space design, story-rich brand experiences, and emotionally resonant customer journey design
• Knowledge of beauty product presentation, fashion curation methods, and lifestyle brand storytelling through spatial design
• Understanding of premium materials, artisanal fabrication techniques, and bespoke construction methods that support narrative experiences
• Experience with sophisticated lighting design that enhances storytelling in intimate settings and creates emotional connections
• Knowledge of guest flow optimization, narrative staging, and story-driven personalized experience design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing narrative-driven experiences for beauty, fashion, or luxury lifestyle brands in intimate settings
• Knowledge of beauty product presentation and story-rich curated experience best practices
• Understanding of narrative-focused fashion presentations and storytelling through bespoke garment showcasing
• Experience with premium materials, luxury finishes, and artisanal fabrication techniques that enhance brand stories
• Background in private launches, VIP experiences, dining club events, or exclusive brand moments with strong narrative components
• Experience with subtle technology integration that supports storytelling and enhances rather than dominates intimate narrative experiences
• Knowledge of sustainable luxury design practices and ethically sourced materials that align with brand values and stories
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles that support diverse narrative experiences
