Senior UI/UX Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Designer to work with our team at Eastside Co, a Shopify agency. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications on behalf of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive designs. Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project goals

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Sketch

- Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with established design patterns

- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs

- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user interface design

Experience:

- Experience with Shopify is strongly preferred.

- Proven experience as a UI designer or similar role

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, and other design tools

- Solid understanding of web design principles, including responsive design and accessibility

- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, Telerik, CSS, SCSS

- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms

- Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for user interface design

Requirements:

- Strong portfolio showcasing your UI design skills and projects you have worked on

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
