QA Tester / Automation Engineer

Role Description This full-time remote role as a QA Tester / Automation Engineer at EMAREA Immobilier Entreprise El-Djazair involves ensuring the quality and reliability of web and software solutions used within the organization. The role includes designing, reviewing, and executing test cases, documenting test results, and collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and verify fixes. The QA Tester / Automation Engineer will help define and maintain test plans, perform manual and automated testing across different environments, and participate in regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Daily tasks also include identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, and supporting release readiness by validating new features and changes before deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Assurance foundation, including experience in Quality Assurance processes and methodologies and a solid understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Manual Testing and Test Execution, with hands-on experience designing and executing test cases for web or enterprise applications.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain clear, reusable Test Cases that cover functional, regression, and edge scenarios.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying defects, interpreting results, and troubleshooting complex issues across different layers of an application.
• Experience or interest in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar), including scripting basic automated tests and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience testing web-based business or real estate–related systems is a plus, as is exposure to performance, security, or API testing.
