You are able to quickly understand the brands you work with and find creative ways to develop new approaches to old problems. Creating is your passion but you are also able work within the bounds of existing design patterns and business requirements. Scope of Role As graphic/media design contractor for Fitness Blender, you will use your experience and education to create visually compelling graphics for a global audience. Content is our primary product and your ability to visually showcase our team of creators and their at-home workouts to inspire our audience and drive action is key. While graphic design is primary to the role, experience with video and motion graphics is a plus. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Create workout content cover images for our content library, online community, and social media channels
• Process large volumes of imagery including cut-out, editing, and correction before placement on branded templates
• Develop promotional materials for new content and sales campaigns
• Create marketing images for email, site notifications, and off-site advertising
• Participate in weekly publication prep activities

Related responsibilities (working closely with Content Team Lead), as appropriate:

• Refresh imagery for our website and social media channels
• Provide image and video QA review and support
• Utilize graphic design and video editing skills relevant to social media and the web
• Offer creative direction across the areas in which you contribute

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Design Communications, Marketing, or other relevant fields
• Detailed knowledge of Fitness Blender, including our ethos, content, features, and social presence
• Demonstrated creativity across web and social platforms via a professional portfolio
• Mastery with Adobe design products and Figma
• Relevant, defined experience leading visual design for a similar sized company
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Established ability to apply creativity, organization, and efficiency to design efforts
• US based and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Available, reliable high-speed internet connection for transferring large files and participating in video and text communication

Have (or Are Willing To Acquire, Through Training)

• Experience with Final Cut Pro for promotional video and motion graphics creation a plus
• Skills related to the latest tools and technology for social media imagery and engagement a plus
• Willingness to expand skills in graphic design and video editing
• Keen understanding of the competitive space with an eye on helping us create deeper engagement and trust
