Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Web Scraper to work on a part-time basis. The role involves extracting and structuring data from public web sources to support business intelligence and market research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract structured data from specified websites and online sources using automated tools and manual methods.

• Clean, validate, and organize scraped data to ensure accuracy and usability for downstream analysis.

• Maintain and update scraping scripts or tools to adapt to changes in website structures or data formats.

• Document scraping processes, data sources, and any encountered issues for team reference.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data requirements and improve scraping efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages for writing and maintaining scrapers.

• Experience with web scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Puppeteer.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS selectors, and browser developer tools for data extraction.

• Ability to manipulate and clean data using libraries like Pandas or OpenRefine.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Self-directed work style with the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
