About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced backend developer to join Earnly Limited's dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our platform. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and ensuring the security and scalability of APIs, data processing pipelines, and third-party integrations with services such as Stripe, PayPal, and Open Banking providers. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of backend development experience, preferably within a startup or SaaS environment. Proficiency in .NET, Core 8, Razor Pages, and Bootstrap 5 is essential. You should have a strong understanding of database management systems like MongoDB and SQL Server, including schema design and performance optimization. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and containerization tools such as Docker is required. Additionally, experience with API security protocols, versioning, and best practices is crucial. Candidates should be comfortable working within agile methodologies, utilizing Git for version control, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. A solid understanding of data protection regulations, GDPR, and fintech security standards is also important. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support mobile and web client applications.
• Design, develop, and manage databases using MongoDB and SQL Server, ensuring efficient storage, querying, and data aggregation.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines for processing real-time and batch data from external sources.
• Ensure backend performance, scalability, and resilience through continuous monitoring and improvements.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, adhering to fintech-grade security standards.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to ongoing product improvements.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile engineers, product managers, and stakeholders within an agile development environment.
• Contribute to infrastructure decisions involving Docker, container orchestration, and cloud services to enhance deployment efficiency.
