Title: Web Designer IV (AI-Focused Web Experiences)

Location: Remote (PST preferred)

Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026 (extension possible)

Compensation: $75 - $91 / hour

Work Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Web Designers on this team are responsible for crafting high-impact, user-centered digital experiences for AI-focused web platforms. This role blends strong visual design, UX thinking, and storytelling to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible web experiences.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners including content, product, engineering, and marketing teams to design responsive, conversion-driven pages that align with brand standards while pushing creative boundaries.

RESPONSIBILITIESWeb & Visual Design

• Design intuitive, responsive web pages with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and conversion
• Develop visual storytelling elements including layouts, typography, imagery, and video to clearly communicate complex concepts
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to explore and refine design solutions
• Ensure designs align with established brand guidelines while thoughtfully extending them where appropriate

Collaboration & Execution

• Partner closely with content creators, product teams, and stakeholders to align design outcomes with business goals
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and adherence to accessibility standards
• Contribute to strategic creative decisions that elevate overall design quality and consistency

Design Systems & Quality

• Work within component-based design systems to ensure scalability and consistency
• Apply accessibility best practices across all design work
• Support design iteration based on feedback, testing, and performance insights

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in digital design with a strong emphasis on web design
• A portfolio demonstrating innovative, user-centered web experiences
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Experience working with design systems and component-based workflows
• Proven collaboration experience with engineering teams from concept through implementation
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with motion design, animation, or interactive storytelling
• Background designing for AI, machine learning, or other highly technical products
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices
