Junior Software Engineer (Entry Level) (Remote)

Job_Summary:

Evertz Microsystems is a global manufacturer of broadcast equipment and solutions, and they are seeking a curious, early-career software developer to join their Enterprise Tools team. In this role, you’ll help design, build and maintain tools that drive operations while writing production-quality code and participating in code reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Help design, build and maintain the internal and customer-facing tools driving infrastructure operations, security and observability

• Write production-quality code

• Participate in code reviews

• Turn real-world pain points into elegant software solutions

Qualifications:-Required:

• Experience in developing effective and scalable code in Python, ideally using Django.

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and front-end development principles.

• Familiarity with API integration and working with third-party services.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members.

• Ability to work independently and in teams.

• Around 2 years of experience in a backend development role.

-Preferred:

• Ability to apply user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design concepts.

• Familiarity with SQL databases.
