The Role

This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Software/ Web Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping high-performance web applications that power critical communications. You’ll lead full-stack feature development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering function.

• Design and implement backend-heavy, scalable software solutions
• Build sleek, responsive interfaces using Angular (v17+)
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver outstanding user experiences
• Mentor junior developers and champion engineering best practices
• Take part in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Your Experience

We’re looking for a full stack engineer who thrives in a collaborative, product-driven environment and has deep expertise in backend and frontend development.

• Proven full-stack engineering experience with emphasis on backend systems
• Proficient in C# .NET / .NET Core and modern front-end frameworks (Angular 17+)
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiar with version control (Git), agile methodologies, and containerization (Docker a plus)

Desirable

• Experience with additional front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
• Experience in building micro-services and using containerization technologies like Docker
• Familiarity with Jest or other testing frameworks for front-end applications

The role is primarily remote however the team do meet on an ad-hoc basis in Nottingham 1/2 times per month. Consequently interested candidates should be located within a commutable distance of Nottingham.
