We’re hiring a Performance Video Editor to take ownership of transforming raw creator/UGC footage into high‑performing short‑form ads for TikTok, Meta, Pmax/Demand Gen, and YouTube Shorts. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact execution role for an operator who thrives on fast iteration, creative problem‑solving, and turning data into content that converts.
Your mission: deliver 20–40 new edited ad variations every week, ensuring constant creative velocity and zero bottlenecks.

How you’ll contribute
This is a hands-on execution role focused on speed, quality, and performance.
Performance Video Editing (Core Execution)
- Edit 25–50 short-form ad variants weekly for Meta, TikTok, Pmax, and Demand Gen.
- Transform UGC into high-retention, conversion-focused video ads.
- Produce multiple variants: hooks, captions, overlays, CTAs, split tests.
- Add subtitles (auto + manual), sound syncing, emojis, punch-ins, zooms.
- Create multiple aspect ratios — 9:16 mandatory, 1:1 and 16:9 as needed.
- Build reusable editing templates to enable fast mass-creation.
- Rapidly iterate based on performance feedback.
- Maintain organized assets, project files, and workflow systems.
- Collaborate closely with media buyers, creative strategists, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, fast feedback loops, and seamless execution.
AI + Automation Integration
- Use CapCut templates for scalable editing.
- Leverage AI tools like Runway, OpusClip, Descript, Sora, Veo3.
- Automate captions, reframing, and batch production steps.
🎯 KPIs
Your success will be measured by speed, output, and winning creatives.
Weekly KPIs
- Edited ad variants delivered.
- Turnaround time from footage → test-ready.
- Reliability of output volume.
- % of videos hitting performance benchmarks.
What you’ll need to succeed in this role
- 1–3 years editing short-form paid social ads for DTC brands.
- Strong understanding of pacing, retention, and scroll-stopping openings.
- Skilled in editing tools: CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects.
- Understands the structure of high-performing TikTok/Meta ads: Hook → Problem → Demo → CTA.
- Experience editing UGC into direct-response-style ads (not "pretty content").
- Fast execution speed with high attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- UGC editing for beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or health brands.
- Strong understanding of DTC performance KPIs.
- Experience scaling winning videos into mega-winners.
- Familiarity with Spark Ads / creator whitelisting.
- Experience optimizing creator/UGC assets.
- Experience with open‑source creative tools (online or local), such as Stable Diffusion or ComfyUI
