Contract Product Designer - FinTech - App

A leading FinTech business is seeking a Product Designer to join its growing design team and play a key role in shaping the future of its digital products. This role will focus on designing new, user-friendly applications while also auditing and refining existing digital channels to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing intuitive, engaging experiences for fintech applications (mobile and web).
• Translating complex financial journeys into clear, elegant interfaces.
• Running diagnostics and audits on current digital channels to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to take ideas from concept to launch.
• Conducting user research and creating wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
• Maintaining consistency across products through design systems while driving innovation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid UX and UI design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong mobile and/or web app work.
• Proven ability to conduct audits, usability testing, and diagnostics on digital products.
• Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) and experience working with design systems.
• A strong eye for detail, with a passion for usability and accessibility.
• Previous experience in fintech or other complex digital product environments (preferred).

Day Rate: £450 - £650
