Role Description

As a BIG-geregistreerde Arts at NutroFusion Labs, you provide remote, evidence-based medical oversight for our personalised weight-management programmes for clients in the Netherlands. In this freelance/contract role, you will conduct virtual consultations, assess client eligibility and health risks, review medical histories, and provide medically sound recommendations in line with Dutch regulations and BIG standards. You will work alongside our nutrition and coaching teams to keep programmes safe, appropriate, and tailored to each client, document consultations accurately, contribute to clinical protocols, and escalate complex cases when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid BIG registration as a physician (Arts) in the Netherlands, eligible to practise independently
• Strong general medicine foundation; interest or experience in lifestyle medicine, nutrition, or preventive care
• Able to run structured remote consultations, assess health risks, and give clear, patient-centred advice
• Comfortable working as a freelancer/contractor, managing your own workload in a remote setting
• Excellent written and verbal Dutch; good command of English
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable in a multidisciplinary team (dietitians, coaches, product specialists)
• Confident with telehealth platforms, electronic records, and secure communication tools
• Committed to ethical, inclusive practice and respect for diverse patient backgrounds
• Willing to work flexible hours within agreed contract terms
