My client is a product-driven technology company creating a cutting-edge platform used by customers worldwide — a system built for performance, scalability, and exceptional user experience. As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team remotely from anywhere in Northern Ireland.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and building high-performance, user-centric front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborating with product and back-end teams to deliver seamless, high-volume transactional experiences at scale.
• Developing reusable UI components and design systems to ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability.
• Optimising application performance for speed and responsiveness across modern browsers and devices.
• Leveraging AWS services to integrate, deploy, and monitor front-end applications in a cloud-native environment.
• Participating in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Tech Stack & Environment

• Front-End: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Cognito, etc.)
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
• Tooling: Webpack, Vite, or similar build systems
• Practices: Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated deployments

About You

• 7+ years of commercial front-end development experience, with at least 4 years using React.
• Proven experience building high-volume, high-performance web applications (e.g. e-commerce, trading, or data-driven systems).
• Solid understanding of AWS and cloud-native front-end deployment patterns.
• Strong grasp of JavaScript fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and performance optimisation.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with a proactive and delivery-focused approach.
• Passionate about clean, maintainable code and modern front-end architecture.
