Oliver Bernard have partnered with a fast-scaling digital media and technology organisation undergoing significant investment in its product and engineering capabilities.

This organisation operates high-traffic consumer platforms supported by modern, cloud-based architecture, and places strong emphasis on technical ownership, experimentation and data-driven decision-making.

Role Overview

As a key member of a cross-functional engineering team, you will:

• Build and enhance large-scale, customer-facing web applications
• Work across the full stack, contributing to both backend services and polished front-end experiences
• Influence architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Collaborate with product, design and data specialists to deliver high-quality features
• Champion best practices, code quality and engineering standards
• Support the development of mid-level engineers through mentoring and guidance

Tech Environment

Candidates with experience across several of the following areas will be well-suited:

• Full Stack TypeScript (Backend leaning)
• Node.js, plus modern backend frameworks
• React or other contemporary front-end libraries
• Cloud services (AWS preferred), including Serverless, Containerisation and CI/CD
• Microservices and Distributed systems
• Strong understanding of system design and performance optimisation
