Role Overviews:Mechanical Engineer (Open-Source Focused)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong technical judgment, a pragmatic approach, and a preference for open-source tools over proprietary lock-in. This role will help lead mechanical design, from initial concepts to production-ready documentation.

Responsibilities:

• 3D modeling and detailed design in FreeCAD
• Structural and thermal FEM analysis using CalculiX / PrePoMax
• BOM creation, management, and documentation
• Material selection based on function, cost, and durability
• Development and comparison of alternative design concepts
• Collaboration with Controls, Process, and Software Engineers
• Use of ISO/API standards

We’re looking for a practical, technically curious Controls Engineer with a strong background in instrumentation, control systems, and industrial automation logic. You will bridge the gap between mechanical design, process intent, and automation logic using minimal but effective tools.

Responsibilities:

• Specification and selection of sensors, actuators, and control hardware
• Reading, creating, and updating P&ID diagrams
• Drafting or maintaining instrumentation lists
• Supporting control logic design (PLC-ready structure or documentation)
• Coordinating with Mechanical and Software Engineers on system behavior
• Consulting relevant standards (IEC, ISA) and customer requirements

We’re looking for a versatile Software Engineer to support our projects and workflows by building scripts, connectors, utilities, and data bridges across our toolchain. This role is part developer, part technical integrator, and part automation architect.

Responsibilities:

• Writing scripts (mostly in Python) to automate repetitive engineering tasks
• Creating lightweight tools to connect CAD, FEM, documentation, and data pipelines
• Supporting AI integration with local data (file parsing, database queries, APIs)
• Maintaining internal tools and file systems (Git, shared folders, custom utilities)

• Preparing and issuing invoices for services and projects
• Monitoring payments, expenses, cash flow, and project budgets
• Handling communication with tax authorities

Together with Lead Engineer, you will track multiple technical projects, assign resources, manage timelines and dependencies, and act as the communication bridge between engineering, sales, admin, and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Track all current and upcoming projects (status, milestones, deadlines)
• Assign tasks and follow up with relevant team members (engineers, sales, admin)
• Anticipate resource bottlenecks and suggest optimizations or adjustments
• Maintain communication with clients on status, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure each project meets its scope, quality, and delivery expectations
• Help prioritize tasks and clarify goals
• Organize internal updates, documentation, and records per project/client

Lead Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to take the orchestration role across all active projects, and disciplines. You will act as the central decision-maker, integrator, and communication point between engineering, business, and leadership. Together with the owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the full engineering pipeline while ensuring team alignment, task clarity, and execution quality across multiple domains (mechanical, controls, software, admin, sales).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain full visibility into all active and queued projects
• Coordinate work between agents and departments (engineering, sales, admin)
• Review and approve technical solutions and ensure alignment with client goals
• Prioritize tasks and redistribute workload as needed
• Track progress, remove blockers, and raise issues directly to the business owner
• Uphold project quality, timelines, and documentation standards
• Communicate proactively and adaptively
