Website Graphic Designer

Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Graphic Designer to design engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing website layouts. The ideal candidate will combine strong graphic design skills with an understanding of user experience (UX) and web technologies to deliver designs that enhance brand identity and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design website layouts, graphics, icons, banners, and other visual elements aligned with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with web developers, UX designers, and content creators to bring concepts to life.
• Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to present design ideas effectively.
• Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for all devices and screen sizes.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and web technologies to deliver modern, innovative visuals.
• Edit and optimize images for web use without compromising quality.
• Maintain visual consistency across all website pages and digital platforms.
• Provide creative input on improving user interface design and overall user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in website or digital design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles (a plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing website and digital design projects.
• Excellent sense of typography, color, layout, and branding.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics, animations, or video editing.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify).

This is a freelance role for a professional based in the EU, with travel required 3–4 times per year.
