Staff Product Designer

About the Opportunity:

The organization is developing an AI-powered assistant to simplify car ownership for millions of Americans, covering insurance, financing, safety, and repairs. The Staff Product Designer will help define and elevate the user experience and visual identity across core offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design for key products including insurance, safety, and repairs.

• Launch new features to modernize car care.

• Collaborate with research, product, and data teams to translate insights into design.

• Create seamless user experiences to improve engagement and retention.

• Develop and maintain a scalable design system.

• Integrate AI for faster, clearer, and more personalized user interactions.

• Set high standards for UX and visual design.

Requirements:

• Portfolio showcasing outstanding visual design, UX, and consumer product launches.

• 8+ years of product design experience, including mobile and web.

• Track record of owning projects from concept to launch and iteration.

• Experience developing design systems with engineering teams.

• Ability to work quickly and effectively in fast-paced environments.

• Strong communication and storytelling skills.

• Bonus: Experience in marketplaces, fintech, mobility, or insurance.

Compensation:

• The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on this job posting, determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation may include opportunities for equity grants.
