Sr. Sharepoint Developer - REMOTE

New Position: Sharepoint DeveloperLocation - Remote:Duration - 12 Months - one year Great to have Uitility domain experience Scope of Work ("SOW") Summary: Client is seeking an intermediate Application developer to support various application projects as well as maintain and administer others. This candidate's core discipline must be in SharePoint Development to support the creation and publication of new features and input forms, develop or modify existing modules/features, and work with project managers to develop 3rd party integration support for any new and ongoing projects. In this role, the SharePoint Developer will be required to develop applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Bi), SharePoint Web Parts (C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Visual Studio 2019), and other Microsoft 365 tools (MS Teams, Dynamics, One Drive). The candidate will also provide support for issues and problems with existing solutions as a technical extension of the service desk. Roles/Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in web software development.
• Technical design and build of SharePoint that integrate with departmental processes and workflows.
• API development to integrate existing and future systems used at LIPA
• Template development repeatable business processes,
• SharePoint management, including SharePoint consulting; permissions management; building and managing sites, including workflow and document management; site maintenance; capacity management
• Provide technical expertise to management and continued implementation and deployment of SharePoint solutions for LIPA to manage and preserve records.
• Assist in the migration of SharePoint online to the modern UI.
• Planning SharePoint Site Architecture, configuration, and publishing across key sites and resolving technical and user support issues
• Resolving problems with software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Creating and configuring SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
• Integrating SharePoint with other business applications, such as Smartsheets, Dynamics 365, Open Text and related systems.

Areas of Expertise

• At least 5+ years of overall development experience.
• At least 5 - 7 years of experience with SharePoint 2019/Online Development implementation and testing.
• At least 5+ years' experience with C#, .Net, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop SharePoint Features/modules.
• Experience with scripting using MS Visual Studio, PowerShell, and VBScript.
• Experience with SharePoint API.
• Experience with Power Automate/Flow, forms, and PowerApps, SharePoint Framework.
• Experience creating integrations with Share Point and cloud applications such as Microsoft Dynamics, Smartsheet's etc.
• Experience building custom SharePoint web parts and custom SharePoint Visual Studio workflows Understanding of building SharePoint customizations using site definitions, custom content types, features and solution package
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and GIT.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
