As such, all of their services are customised to ensure that a relevant and strategic approach is applied to grant-seeking activities.
As Communications and Marketing Specialist, you’ll lead and deliver strategic marketing and communications initiatives that elevate Strategic Grants’ brand, services, and impact. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Reporting to the Customer Success and Business Development Manager, this role also works closely with the CEO/Founder and Grants Strategists/Client Managers to ensure aligned messaging and support for client engagement, workshops and presentations.
About YOU
You’re a proactive, resourceful communicator who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You bring:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, professional content for a variety of audiences and platforms
- Proven experience in marketing and communications, including social media, campaign development and content creation
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective working relationships with clients, internal teams, partners and suppliers
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Proficiency in digital tools (e.g. Asana, Survey Monkey, Campaign Monitor)
- Graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector, ideally with fundraising knowledge
- Ability to contribute to business development activities, including market research and lead generation
- Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a small team
- A Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar.
