3D Animator – Explainer Video Project

This project involves creating a dynamic 3D animated explainer video to transform a traditionally dull process into an engaging and visually polished story. The animation will run for 30–60 seconds, with the potential for shorter cutdowns derived from the main piece. The creative direction should closely follow the provided reference videos, ensuring a high standard of pacing, tone, and visual quality. The scope covers the full production pipeline, from storyboard development through to final 3D animation, across two distinct environments. No particle effects, voiceover, or music are required. The selected animator will be expected to collaborate closely on visual direction, provide clear stage breakdowns, and accommodate revision rounds for both storyboard and animation phases. Deliverables

• Develop storyboards based on project objectives and reference materials
• Design and build two distinct 3D environments as specified
• Produce a 30–60 second 3D animated explainer video, matching the style and pacing of the provided examples
• Deliver shorter cutdown versions as needed
• Provide stage-by-stage timeline and breakdown for the production process
• Include a defined number of revision rounds for both storyboard and animation stages
• Supply final animation files in required formats

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D animation, with a strong portfolio of explainer or commercial work
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or equivalent)
• Strong skills in visual storytelling, pacing, and environment design
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and reference materials to achieve a polished, dynamic result
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for feedback and revisions
• Availability to deliver within agreed timelines and accommodate revision rounds
• Experience working with creative agencies or on commercial projects is preferred
