3D Animator – Mid-Senior (Freelance)

This freelance opportunity is for a talented 3D animator and product rendering specialist to create photorealistic visual assets for a custom-designed smartwatch. The project involves producing high-quality renders and animations that showcase the smartwatch, its magnetically attachable straps, magnetic power bank, and packaging box. The product comes in ten distinct color variants, and the assets will be used for marketing, website, and promotional purposes. All necessary FBX files will be provided, and access to a powerful cloud workstation is available if required. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio in product visualization and the ability to deliver visually compelling results under tight deadlines. Deliverables

• Approximately 7 photorealistic renders from different angles for each of the ten color variants (Black, Grey, Silver, Rose Gold, Gold, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Khaki Camouflage)
• Around 15 additional renders from various angles in black
• One exploded/teardown view in black (AI tools may be used)
• A 15-second animation in black, highlighting product features and assembly
• A 15-second animation showcasing color variant transitions
• All assets optimized for marketing, website, and promotional use

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D product rendering and animation, preferably for consumer electronics or wearable devices
• Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya) and rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Octane, Redshift)
• Strong understanding of lighting, materials, and photorealistic visualization techniques
• Ability to work with provided FBX files and adapt to existing design specifications
• Experience creating exploded/teardown views and dynamic product animations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality assets within tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
• Access to a high-performance workstation or willingness to use provided cloud resources
• Availability for immediate start and potential follow-up work
