Anime Trailer Animator – Freelance

Join an exciting creative project to produce a high-impact, anime-style trailer for a Manchester-based streetwear brand. This role involves crafting a 15–30 second cinematic intro video that captures a bold, modern, and stylish aesthetic inspired by classic anime and Final Fantasy visuals. The sequence will open with a slow pan over a broken marble torii gate under moonlight, transition into dynamic action shots featuring a lone wanderer and a masked enemy, and culminate with intense sword clashes, glitch and petal effects, and a dramatic logo reveal. You will have significant creative freedom to deliver a visually memorable and engaging animation that introduces the brand to customers in a striking way. This is a single project with the potential for future collaborations based on results.

Deliverables

- Complete 15–30 second anime-style trailer in 1080p or 4K video format

- Original character designs for a lone wanderer and a masked enemy

- Cinematic backgrounds, including a broken marble torii gate under moonlight

- Integration of brand logo and the phrase “Enter the House”

- Use of bold particle effects, glitch transitions, and dynamic sword action

- Final video ready for brand marketing and social media

Requirements

- Proven experience in 2D or 3D animation, with a strong portfolio of anime-inspired work

- Proficiency in animation software such as After Effects, Blender, Toon Boom, or similar

- Strong skills in character design, background art, and visual storytelling

- Ability to create cinematic effects, including particle and glitch effects

- Creative approach with the ability to interpret and elevate brand vision

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, polished animation

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently to meet deadlines

- Availability for a single project, with openness to future work if successful
