Freelance Web Designer (Remote)

This role involves redesigning and optimizing an existing live website to enhance its visual appeal, user experience, and search engine performance. The project is for a personal website and requires a creative and technically skilled web designer and developer who can work remotely on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will assess the current site, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that drive higher search rankings and better user engagement. Deliverables

• Conduct a comprehensive review of the current website to identify design and SEO improvement opportunities
• Redesign website layout and visual elements to create a modern, user-friendly experience
• Optimize all site content, images, and metadata for SEO best practices
• Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility
• Implement on-page SEO strategies, including keyword integration and internal linking
• Set up or enhance analytics tracking to monitor site performance
• Provide recommendations for ongoing SEO and content improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience in website design and development, with a strong portfolio of redesign projects
• Expertise in SEO optimization, including technical, on-page, and content SEO
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design
• Ability to analyze website performance and implement data-driven improvements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on remote projects
• Availability for part-time contract work and flexibility to accommodate project needs
