Mid-Senior 3D Animator (Freelance)

A premium audio brand seeks a skilled 3D motion designer to produce a visually striking, scroll-driven exploded view animation of a flagship turntable for a product feature page. The animation will transition the turntable from fully assembled to a detailed exploded view, highlighting each component with precision and clarity. The final output will be used to enhance the product’s online presentation, emphasizing craftsmanship and engineering quality. All reference materials, measurements, and brand guidelines will be provided to ensure visual consistency with existing product photography. The animation will be pre-rendered; no real-time or interactive 3D is required. Deliverables

• Pre-rendered animation (MP4, 1920×1080 minimum, 4K preferred, 60 frames, h.264, no audio) showing the turntable transitioning from assembled to exploded view
• PNG image sequence with transparent background at 4K resolution (primary deliverable)
• Fixed three-quarter camera angle and vertical component separation
• Realistic materials and lighting to match premium product photography
• Smooth pacing and visually engaging transitions
• Collaboration with the web team, who will handle scroll-driven playback integration

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D animation and motion design, ideally for product visualization or technical illustration
• Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of lighting, materials, and rendering for photorealistic output
• Ability to interpret reference photos, technical drawings, and brand guidelines
• Experience delivering high-resolution, pre-rendered animations and image sequences
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to match visual style to provided references
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently to meet deadlines
• Availability for a single project with potential for future collaboration
