Video Editor – Bilingual Social Media Contract

This role is ideal for a creative professional fluent in both German and English, passionate about crafting engaging content for diverse audiences. You will transform raw ideas, scripts, and footage into polished, ready-to-publish content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The position requires a keen eye for detail, adaptability to different content formats, and the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines. You will play a key part in shaping the brand’s online presence, ensuring each piece of content is tailored to its platform and audience. Deliverables

• Edit and produce short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and longer YouTube videos from provided footage and scripts
• Create visually appealing carousels and single posts for social media
• Write engaging captions and add accurate subtitles in both German and English
• Apply basic graphic design to enhance content quality and consistency
• Format and optimize content for each platform’s requirements
• Deliver several content pieces per week with a fast turnaround
• Collaborate proactively, providing creative input and clear communication throughout the process

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing and social media content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing both short and long-form work
• Fluency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
• Ability to add subtitles and write captions in both languages
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive approach and willingness to contribute creative ideas
• Preference for candidates based in Eastern Europe or the Caucasus region
• Availability for a short, paid test project with potential for ongoing collaboration
