Job Description

Untile - Product Manager (Software)Untile is a digital product design and development company based in Viana do Castelo, building web and mobile products with clients across Europe in a remote setting. We're hiring a Product Manager so that each of our squads has its own. At Untile, Product Managers own the what and why of the product; Project Managers own delivery, timelines, and operational execution. You'll lead the product side of one squad alongside designers, engineers, and a dedicated Project Manager. This role isn't for someone who waits for direction. We want a proactive leader who pushes the product forward, runs the room with clients, and challenges weak assumptions. Passive PMs won't thrive here. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Own the product strategy and roadmap of your squad's product, in partnership with the client. Lead discovery — user research, problem validation, and turning real customer pain into clear product decisions. Be the senior product voice with the client: running discussions, negotiating scope, steering the relationship. Define and prioritize the backlog, making trade-offs between business value, user impact, and engineering effort. Partner with engineering and design from problem framing through release, and measure outcomes after launch. WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:4+ years as a Software Product Manager or Product Owner. Hands-on software engineering experience (web or mobile) — you've shipped production code and understand how products are built end-to-end. Strong product discovery skills: you talk to users, validate problems, and avoid building the wrong thing. A clear track record of leading clients and negotiating scope and timelines. Comfortable in Agile environments and facilitating between stakeholders and delivery teams. Commercial sense — estimation, budgets, and spotting business opportunities. Excellent written and spoken English. NICE TO HAVE:Experience in agency or consulting settings, working with multiple clients. Exposure to both web and mobile products. WHAT YOU'LL GET:A full-time position; Remote work; Flexible schedule; Extra vacation days (which are yours to schedule); Last month friday afternoon free; Health Insurance (a good one); Wellbeing program (mental health); Generous food allowance; Flexible benefits through Coverflex (Education, Health, Well-being activities, Gym, and so on); Individual training budget and e-learning library with unlimited access to several courses; English training, if needed; Company performance bonus; Birth allowanceand kids' education annual complement; Inspiring and collaborative work environment; Team extra-workactivities. Delightful free snacks and beverages at the office; SEND US YOUR APPLICATION:We can't wait to hear from you. Hit us up at ******. The salary range from this role is between €35,****** to €********* annual gross, which includes meal, extra benefits, vacation and Xmas allowances.
