UI/UX Front End Consultant (ID:47141)

We are seeking a UI/UX-focused Consultant to help improve the look and feel of our client's internal business applications and reports. While the engineering team has successfully built functional apps, they need expert guidance to create a consistent, modern, and intuitive user experience. This consultant will assess the current state, provide actionable recommendations, and execute improvements to align with a clean, uniform design. Worksite Location:RemotePay Range

• Assess existing business applications and reports for opportunities to improve user interface and user experience
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations on creating consistent, aesthetically pleasing designs across all apps and reports
• Redesign and refine the UI/UX of current apps to improve flow, ease of use, and alignment with the organization's branding and website style
• Standardize design elements across both structured and flexible app types while preserving existing functionality
• Create reusable design templates and style guides for future app development by the in-house engineering team
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand business needs, user workflows, and design priorities

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in UI/UX design with a focus on improving the visual appeal and usability of business applications
• Proficiency with front-end development tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience working within a Microsoft environment, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
• Ability to transform functional but visually inconsistent apps into modern, clean, and cohesive designs
• Experience creating design systems, reusable style guides, and templates for technical teams
• Excellent communication skills for consulting with engineering teams and stakeholders to align on design priorities
• Experience working in a consulting, freelance, or fractional capacity is preferred
