About The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, remote basis. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that promote JST’s mission, initiatives, and programs. The ideal candidate will manage content creation, oversee digital campaigns across multiple platforms, and analyze performance metrics to optimize outreach efforts. Collaboration with internal teams, including public affairs, is essential to ensure messaging consistency and alignment. The Digital Marketing Specialist will stay abreast of industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to effectively reach target audiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. The role may involve travel based on project needs and supporting organizational objectives. Qualifications
- Degree or certification in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within a military or government context.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
- Experience managing social media campaigns across various platforms.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing techniques.
- Ability to develop and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Basic understanding of web development and user experience principles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, including Google Workspace.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel as required to support organizational needs.
- Ability to pass a US Government Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Create, curate, and distribute engaging content across social media platforms, websites, and email campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including public affairs and web development, to ensure messaging consistency and technical integration.
- Stay updated on emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into strategies.
- Manage social media accounts, scheduling posts, engaging with audiences, and growing online communities.
- Design and execute targeted email campaigns to nurture leads and communicate key messages.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign success and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all digital content and communications.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to gather critical information for product development and strategic planning.
- Understand target audiences and tailor marketing efforts to resonate effectively with them.
- Support organizational initiatives through tactical and strategic digital marketing efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives and organizational growth.
